The Mechanical Engineering Bachelor of Science degree program at Kennedy-Western University offers two options for students to take in preparation for their chosen career path. Both options focus on a blend of thermal sciences, applied mechanics, energy science and technology, and designs. Thermo-Sciences Energy, or option A, provides training for students who want to work designing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, or in a similar field. Machine Design Structures, or option B, teaches students how to devise machine components to complete specific functions. This option is for those planning to work in an industry such as automobiles, manufacturing, or aerospace.
